Steve Paradise began working as a DJ back in the early 80's and he was one of the first promoters of house music in Italy. Currently playing as a freelancer in Italian and European clubs, he is also in charge of the licensing department of the deephouse Gotta Keep Faith Records label.

His first single for Kolonki features the vocals by D.D. Klein. Born in Antigua, in the 90's she moved to Italy to continue her career as a model in which she achieved great results. She also pursued a singing career, which progressed from her singing Amaro Ramazzotti TV commercials, onward and upward into the Italian and European charts with WEB Lovin' Times and 2 Thousand's Fire.

Since some years, for very personal reasons, she has completely retired, so this is maybe the last track in which you will be able to listen to her wonderful vocals.

The package comes with remixes covering a wide range of audience, from sophisticate laidback grooving (Phil R) to wicked deep-funk in club/dub style (The Messenger) to dreamy deep-tech (Enrico Mantini).

Cortes and Terry Dexter…after Forbidden Love, the nifty duo is back with a new uplifting club-oriented track. Exclusive remix by Island Groove and killer mixes by Phil R and Deep Vintage.

“Dream” is the 4th song composed together by Peter Shallmin (aka Cortes) and the amazing R’n’B star singer Terry Dexter for Kolonki Recordings, the follow-up of Kolonki classics “Wonderful” (KLK004), “Emeraude” (KLK006) and “Forbidden Love” (KLK007).

Terry Dexter is well known for her past works with Simply Red, Joe Cocker, Jaheim, Eric Benet, Black Eyed Peas, Will.I.Am, Roy Davis Jr., as well as for her solo works for Warner Bros and Reprise.

The single includes two remixes by one of Kolonki's favourite artists - the Italian star producer duo “Island Groove”. They exclusively re-worked “Dream” in classy Balearic club style remixes with live sax and electric guitar!

Phil R, the Italian part of Kolonki team, embellishes “Dream” with smooth funky groove and fat and deep trademark keys, while Kolonki residents “Deep Vintage” bring back the good old days of true 90-es house music with their EPIC mix

Smooth package from Kolonki Recordings with an exclusive remix by Fredric Taro aka Bibi (NRJ France, Chez, Yellow, Defected, Cheers)

Kolonki Recordings add another title to their collection of vocal house singles with the soulful, epic song Your Sins produced by Peter Shallmin (Cortes) in co-authorship with the great Swedish vocalist Per Johansson.

Per's unique and powerful vocals, their wide range of tones, strong charisma and deepness of lyricism have settled his unique signature in various projects as Torchbearer, Satariel, Demiurg, The Few Against Many among others.

The single also includes an exclusive remix by the top french house producer Frederic Taro a.k.a. Bibi. His disco house and latin-tinged tracks for Chez, Yellow, Defected, Cheers achieved a huge success all over the world. He worked with Dimitri From Paris, Africanism, CeCe Peniston just to name a few.
Frederic also produces and hosts the classic Better Days radio show on NRJ, the biggest radio network in France. Under the Bibi sign he remixed the tracks of the very best artists like Stardust, Dimitri from Paris, Kojak, Cerrone, Mousse T and Superfunk.

Your Sins comes also with two remixes by Deep Vintage: Cortes, Paulo S. and Vlad Oliver - two absolutely classy remixes in club and disco style.

His recent works for Soulstar Records produced by Harley & Muscle (the single as artist "On The Floor", the remix of Moses McClean's "Love Thing") as well as his recent works as Kolonki's resident remixer (Cortes feat. Terry Dexter's "Forbidden Love" remix) made him a recognized and respected name in the deephouse scene.

With this EP on Kolonki, he reveals the deeper side of his sound, with smooth surrounding USA-styled grooves, mostly conceived for late-night playing.

High-class chords, programmed beats, filters and a heavy keyboard job are as always the trademark of Phil R's sound.
